This archive film screening and commentary will take a look at a selection of amateur films made by local filmmakers during the 1920-1950 period with a particular focus on representation and visibility of underrepresented groups.
Southampton: NHS Stories - Oral Histories on Film is installed at City Eye throughout Southampton Film Week.
Eight short films celebrating our NHS, produced by Southampton Keep Our NHS Public members and students from Solent University. Local people, both NHS workers and patients, were interviewed and share their stories for this oral history project.
Please note that City Eye is not open on Sunday and Monday.
