Join us for this mainstay of Southampton Film Week, the screening and awards presentation of the annual College Filmmaking Challenge, featuring films created by students from regional colleges and sixth forms. Plus, a selection of short films from students and graduates of Solent University.
The College Filmmaking Challenge is a competition for AS/A2 and BTEC Level 3 students to produce a short film meeting 3 simple criteria.
The criteria for this year's challenge was:

Using the Title:
The Journey
and the Line of Dialogue:
“What are you looking for?”
There are awards for the categories of Best Film, Best Editing, Best Sound, Best Cinematography, Best Actor and Best Script.
All are welcome to attend this fantastic screening, showcasing young local talent and their creative achievements.
