We begin Thursday’s programme of events at Southampton Film Week with University Professors and PhD Candidates discussing The Future Of Cinema a head of a full day of film screenings, talks and live music celebrating Archive and Classic Film.

The sixteenth annual Southampton Film Week kicks-off with Launch Night this evening from 7pm at MAST Mayflower Studios with a night of film and filmmakers from the region.
This weekend brings feature film screenings of new British comedy/drama’s from debuting directors. ‘Scrapper’ on Saturday at Solent University, Southampton and ‘Brian and Charles’ on Sunday night at The Stage Door

We are very excited that SFW and Into Film Festival are coming together again in 2023 to offer school groups the opportunity to enjoy fabulous film, and we will once again be screening at MAST – Mayflower Studios on Guildhall Square in Southampton.
The Into Film Festival is a free, annual, nationwide celebration of film & education for 5-19 year olds. It helps educators bring learning to life for 5-19 year olds across the UK by inspiring young people to watch, understand and make film in new and creative ways.
